Growing up in a household of avid travelers and amateur photographers, it is not out of the ordinary that I would become interested in both hobbies. Traveling to beautiful national parks within the United States and in Europe would lead me down a journey towards capturing the people and scenery around me. This pursuit to being able to capture the best possible image lead me to where I am today.

 

 Throughout high school and college, I would begin to pick up opportunities to document various school events and submitting them to the school’s website. This was also when a  neighbor asked me to become his assistant in his wedding photography business, to which I happily agreed to and have learned greatly from. Since then, my photography allowed me to meet and work with people of various backgrounds and personalities which make photography the artform that it is.

 

When photographing events, it is important to not only capture the emotions but also the fine details of them. My approach is to capture both formal and journalistic photographs which showcasing the emotions and memories of the day. I understand how important the events are and hence a close collaboration between the participants is needed toward getting the best photographs possible.
